Salary: MPR (£32,407 - £42,769 per annum) + SEN (£2,384 - £4,703 per annum).

Rabbsfarm is a well-resourced, multi-cultural school that has a strong whole school inclusive ethos. We have an above average percentage of pupils with an EHCP and requiring support for complex needs. Since 2019, we have held the IQM Flagship award in recognition of our inclusive practices.

We are looking for the right person to join our expanding Inclusion Team. We wish to appoint an enthusiastic, organised, flexible and well-motivated qualified teacher to take on the role of SENCO. A creative mind for overcoming barriers and implementing support is essential.

You will be extremely well supported as SENCo by our Inclusion Team which includes; an Assistant Head for Inclusion with over 17 years of SENCo experience, a full time Assistant SENCo, a full time Assistant Psychologist, one day a week Occupational therapist and Educational Psychologist support for 40 days annually, as well as a team of over 20 committed LSAs and TAs. Additionally, we offer you dedicated protected SENCo time (0.5 weekly).

A passion for working with children with additional needs and boundless energy is essential. If you would like to work in an exciting, creative and dynamic environment where the children are at the heart of everything we do, then this position is for you.

Applicants must be outstanding teachers of pupils with Special Educational Needs– an observation teaching within our Launch Pad class will form part of the interview process.
