Salary information: Grade 2, £26,757 (FTE) per annum (dependent upon experience) + SEN Allowance £1,455
Further salary information: Please note that the salary is the full time equivalent and will change according to hours and weeks worked.

Teaching Assistant for The Acorn Centre, Pinner Wood ARMS.

Are you an exceptional teaching assistant with a passion for supporting pupils with SEND needs?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate, imaginative, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our Acorn Centre (ARMS – Additional Resource in a outstanding Mainstream School) from September 2025.

This role will involve supporting children in our specialist resource provision and collaborating with staff across the school to ensure high-quality support for pupils with SEND.

The Acorn Centre caters for 12 pupils, split into two classes of 6. While some children remain in the Acorn Centre, others integrate into their home classes for part of the day.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and teaching assistants in the Acorn Centre, under the leadership of our Deputy Head for Inclusion. The role is based in the Pinner Wood ARMS resource and will require close collaboration with mainstream staff.

You will join a committed team dedicated to inclusion and ensuring the best possible provision for pupils with SEND.
