SEN Teaching Assistant
Salary information: Scale 3, £21,646 - £21,956 per annum inclusive of Outer London Weighting (depending on experience)
Work hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm with 30 minutes lunch
Work pattern: 32.5 hours a week, Term Time Only (38 weeks)
Contract type: Permanent
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced and professional person to join our friendly team ass soon as possible as an SEN Teaching Assistant working with specific children.
To work under the direct instruction/guidance of Inclusion Lead to undertake work/care/support programmes, to enable access to learning for pupils and to assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom. Work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the main teaching area. Supporting pupils during break and lunch times as required. Candidates must hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
