Salary information: MPR/UPR; £36,413 - £53,994 (dependent upon experience) + SEN1 Allowance; £2,679

We are seeking a passionate, resilient, and enthusiastic Resistant Materials Teacher to join our school community. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a school that works collaboratively to empower our pupils with lifelong skills and enables our young people to reach the highest levels of independence in adult life.
The successful candidate will be a form tutor alongside being responsible for teaching the Pathway 2 Resistant Materials Curriculum.
All form tutors teach their form group in some core areas including PHSCE, Reading Intervention and either Maths or English.
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status.
- Experience working in an SEN setting (preferred but not essential – training and support will be provided).
- Knowledge of the Resistant Materials curriculum.
- A positive attitude, patience, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Good organisational skills.
- A commitment to an inclusive environment and education to learners with additional needs.
- A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection (training will be provided).
