Project Search Instructor
Contract type: Permanent
Salary information: Scale 6, £30,866 - £31,791 per annum (dependent upon experience) + SSA, £1,337 per annum
Work pattern: 36 hours per week, Term time only + 5 Training days + 1 additional week (equivalent) to be worked as directed time, spread across the academic year as required (40 weeks)
Start date: September 2025
We require 1 Project Search Instructor to work with students with moderate and complex learning difficulties.
Please note: This role will occasionally require the successful applicant to work outside of their contracted hours, this will be discussed during the interview process.

Ideal candidates will have:
- Appropriate qualification (or equivalent) at a minimum Level 3 such as:
- Level 3 Award in Education and Training / Supporting Teaching & Learning.
- Level 3 PTLLS (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector).
- Assessor Qualifications (TAQA – Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement).
- Training Qualifications (e.g. Level 3 Certificate in Delivering Training).
- Experience working in an SEN setting (preferred but not essential – training and support will be provided).
- Strong knowledge of employability skills and job coaching techniques.
- Experience in coordinating work placements, job descriptions, and workplace accommodations.
- Ability to use initiative and to make decisions.
- Good ICT skills.
- A positive attitude, patience, and strong interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to an inclusive environment and education to learners with additional needs.
- A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection (training will be provided).
