Salary information: Scale 5, £27,920 - £29,166 per annum (depending on experience)
Work pattern: 36 hours per week, Term time only + 11 days during the holidays (39.2 weeks)

We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and discreet Personal Assistant (PA) to provide exceptional support to our Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team (SLT). This is a vital role in our dynamic and high-achieving secondary school community, where professionalism, efficiency, and a commitment to excellence are key.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the Headteacher and SLT.
  • Manage complex and sensitive correspondence, diaries, and meeting arrangements.
  • Draft and prepare high-quality documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Support key school functions including Ofsted preparation, governor meetings, and parental communications.
  • Uphold confidentiality and act as a professional representative of the Headteacher’s office.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders with tact, diplomacy, and efficiency.

You will have:

  • GCSE-level English and Mathematics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise a busy workload under pressure.
  • A confident user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and school management systems (e.g., Arbor or equivalent).
  • A positive, professional demeanour with a strong sense of discretion and integrity.
  • Ideally, experience in a education setting.
