Work Pattern: 37 hours per week, All year round;
Salary information: £35,000 - £37,000 per annum (assigned to the support staff pay scale; Range 29 - 31f);

We've recently undergone a period of tremendous growth, including internal promotions, launching new courses, and experiencing a surge in the student population. As such, we are seeking individuals who are passionate about careers-focused creative education and can bring their unique talents and experience to our team.

We’re currently looking for: Marketing, Events and Employer Engagement Lead

In this full-time role, you will collaborate closely with the Senior Leadership Team to develop and execute marketing plans aimed at increasing student numbers and promoting Global Academy through a mix of traditional and digital platforms as well as outreach.

Additionally, you will be responsible for leading a busy schedule of media industry projects and events - including work experiences, trips, mentoring programmes and industry drop-ins as well as working with colleagues and media industry professionals to coordinate extracurricular and enrichment – such as our clubs and classes, EDI (Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion) days, media workshops, and other school events throughout the academic year.

This full-time position involves taking the lead on a diverse range of creative events, marketing campaigns, media industry projects, work experiences, enrichment activities, and more, ensuring that students receive valuable insights to kickstart their career in media.

Welcome to Global Academy – a unique media school for Year 10 – 14 students in West London that prepares young people for a career in the creative media industry in partnership with Global - one of the world’s leading media and entertainment groups. Whether it be on-air, via global player or through their outdoor advertising – Global entertain and reach over 50 million individuals across the UK every week. We also work closely with UAL: London College of Communication. University of the Arts London (UAL) is a world-leading university for art and design (ranked second in the world for Art and Design in the 2021 QS World University Rankings®) and works right alongside the Global Academy team to deliver an amazing educational experience that will set students up for long-term success in the creative industries.

Global Academy is a state-funded school based in Hayes with state of the art facilities including 8 radio studios, 3 TV Studios, an Esports Studio and industry standard editing suites - allowing our students to learn the skills needed to make it in the media and broadcast industry.

We work closely with our industry connections to ensure the skills we teach are the ones companies are looking for and our students leave the academy with a network of contacts along with the ability to progress into further education or employment.
