Learning Support Assistant – attached to the Specialist Resourced Provision for deaf pupils

Salary information: Scale 3, £19,428 - £19,706 per annum (depending on experience)
Work hours: Monday - Friday, 8:40am – 3:30pm (paid 1-hour lunchtime Monday meeting) Tuesday - Friday (1 hour unpaid lunch)
Work pattern: 29 hours and 10 minutes per week, Term time only plus Training Days on request (38 weeks)
Required for: June 2025

Glebe Primary School is looking to employ a full time Learning Support Assistant (29 hours and 10 minutes per week) to support pupils within our Specialist Resourced Provision for deaf pupils.

The role will be a combination of class-based support as well as withdrawal for specialist interventions under the guidance of the Teacher of the Deaf in charge.

The successful candidate should be able to self-evaluate learning needs; actively seek learning opportunities; have a general understanding of the national curriculum and other basic learning programmes/strategies/ codes of practice and be committed to safeguarding all pupils in school.
