Learning Support Assistant (Medical)

Contract type: Specific Purpose - To support a pupil 1:1
Salary information: Scale 3, £18,413 - £18,690 per annum (dependent upon experience)
Work pattern: 29.17 hours per week, Term Time only (38 week)
Hours of work: Monday – Friday, 8.40am – 3.30pm (with 1 hour unpaid lunch)
Start date: 3rd September 2024

The Governors are seeking to appoint an excellent and highly motivated Learning Support Assistant (Medical) to support a pupil 1:1.

Glebe Primary is a successful and popular school located in the London Borough of Hillingdon. We strive to provide a first class education for our children within a caring and supportive environment. Similarly, the school is committed to providing a range of opportunities for the children to enrich their learning. The school had a very successful Ofsted inspection in May 2023.

We are currently looking to employ a Learning Support Assistant (Medical) to support a pupil 1:1 to join us from 3rd September 2024.

If you have excellent questioning skills, can work well as part of a team as well as using your initiative then this could be the role for you!

We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal and listening skills who has the ability: 
  • To use initiative and to follow instructions;
  • To form good relationships with the child;
  • To be able to ensure the health and safety of all pupils at all times and follow the process for reporting incidents;
  • To stay calm and be patient and understanding when dealing with the child.
