Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Salary information: Scale 4, £23,592 - £24,623 per annum (depending on experience)
Work pattern: 32.5 hours per week, Term time only + 5 INSET days (39 weeks)
Work hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm (with a 30 minute unpaid lunch)
Contract type: Temporary until July 2026
Start date: ASAP
Are you an excellent Higher Level Teaching Assistant who is passionate about enhancing the lives of children, both academically and socially, so they are Secondary ready and prepared for life in Modern Britain? Grange Park School is seeking to appoint a committed temporary HLTA, as soon as possible to join our dynamic team. The school is on exciting journey of excellence, having amalgamated in September 2025.

The successful candidate will teach classes, covering teachers' planned and short term absences. In addition your role will include supporting class teachers; supporting individuals and groups of children and supporting with the assessment of children.

- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
- A good understanding of the Primary National Curriculum and the age-related expectations of children KS1 & KS2.
