Salary information: L18 to L24, starting at £75,478 with progression to £86,826 per annum

Vanguard Learning Trust’s board of trustees and Hermitage Primary School’s local governing body are seeking to appoint an exceptional and inspiring leader to the position of Headteacher of Hermitage Primary School.
Our Headteacher will work with staff, governors and trustees to deliver the school’s strategic plans, building on the school’s strong foundations and delivering the vision of a high-performing, safe and nurturing environment where all pupils are valued equally. Hermitage aims to ensure all children grow in confidence and build strong relationships rooted in respect and empathy.
We are looking for a Headteacher who is:
- Able to demonstrate significant impact in a leadership role within a primary school;
- A leader who can inspire and motivate staff, children and parents;
- Passionate about each child being given the opportunity and means to reach their full potential; and
- Able to articulate a clear vision and set the strategic direction for the school.
Our new Headteacher will have the opportunity to lead a school community that is caring, supportive and committed to our pupils. We are looking for a leader with ambition, determination and creativity and would relish the opportunity of working in a local, cross-phase, multi-academy trust.
