Finance officer 

Work pattern: Full time (52 weeks per year); 36 hours per week
Hours of work: Monday - Friday, 8.00am - 4.00pm (includes lunch break)
Salary information: Scale 6, £32,925 - £35,031 per annum (Full time equivalent, dependent upon experience)
Location: Field End Junior School at the central team base, home working arrangements during school holidays will be considered. 
Start date: As soon as possible 

Vanguard Learning Trust is keen to recruit a finance officer who will embrace our Trust’s vision and support one of our aims to engender collective responsibility across our Trust. 

Our finance officer will:
  • Ensure financial transactions are processed accurately and in line with expected deadlines and adhere to the Trusts finance and procurement policies.
  • Assist the Trust’s financial team with reconciliations for month-end, year-end and statutory returns.
  • Assist with the updating of the Trust’s contract management systems to ensure that data records are accurate and up to date.
The successful candidate will be based at our Trust central base, at Field End Junior School, with travel between our schools as required.
