Finance and Administration Officer

Working hours: 30 hours a week, Term time only + training days (39 weeks).
Salary information: Scale 4, £18,959 to £19,906 per annum (depending on experience).
Contract type: Permanent.

Start date: As soon as possible.

Belmont School is looking to recruit a Finance & Administrative Officer to join our team. We are looking for someone who shares our values and ethos and who will build on what we cherish and do today, whilst challenge, help shape and lead us into the future. We are looking to appoint a committed, energetic and enthusiastic person with a ‘can do’ attitude to join our friendly admin team to support the Business & Personnel Manager The post holder will be required to have a good knowledge of finance procedures, preferably with school experience. Ideally, they should have a working knowledge of FMS or Access and be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

You will also be responsible for all finance administration and will be a key member of the school admin team.
  • To assume operational responsibility for the efficient and effective management of the school’s finances and accounting procedures.
  • To ensure all orders are processed through the school’s purchase ordering system and orders have been received correctly
  • Support the Business & Personnel Manager in the operation of the current finance system including credit control
  • As a member of the admin team, be a point of contact for parents and visitors to the school, project a strong customer focused image.
  • Respond professionally, positively and effectively to all queries.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of all records and information
