Early Years Practitioner 

Salary information: Scale 5, £26,134 - £27,300 per annum (depending on experience)
Work hours: Monday - Friday, 8:10am - 3:46pm (with 30 minute break)
Work pattern: 35.5 hours per week, Term time only (38 weeks)
Contract type: Permanent
Start date: October 2025

Our Early Years Practitioners will be:

  • Passionate about supporting young children by contributing to the planning, preparation, delivery and evaluation of learning experiences that will enhance children’s physical, intellectual, emotional, social and moral development.
  • Ready to offer a comfortable, safe and stimulating environment which supports and reflects diversity amongst the children and ensures that all children have equal access to learning and development opportunities.
  • Able to work well in a team, sharing ideas and supporting each other.
  • Professional, friendly and approachable to families at all times, building trust and encouraging engagement.
  • Excellent role models at all times.
  • Ready to undertake further qualifications and training to support the role.
