Data and Administrative Officer

Work pattern: 18 hours per week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) - Term Time only (39 weeks)
Salary information: Scale 5; £11,996 - £12,603 per annum (dependent upon experience)
Start date: ASAP

Much of this role is related to an Educational App called Evidence for Learning (EfL). Previous knowledge of this app is not essential and if you have the key skills below and are good at using databases you will have the transferable skills needed for this role.

The admin team is an essential part of the staff team and will come into contact with the pupils on a daily basis.  

Applicants must have:
  • Have excellent administrative skills and demonstrate an understanding of office procedures (essential).
  • Be computer literate (essential).
  • Be highly efficient and organised (essential).
  • Have the ability to be clear and assertive, whilst remaining calm, composed, tactful and flexible (essential).
  • Have the ability to formulate, draft and produce documents and text from scratch (essential).
  • Knowledge of SIMs, EfL and PLIMS (desirable).
  • Be proficient with the use of Word, Excel and google docs (essential).
  • Have experience of working with databases.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (minimum grade C).
  • Ability to manage own workload and decide between conflicting priorities (essential).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to communicate effectively with staff, pupils, parents and visitors (essential).
  • Ability to work as a member of a team and to relate to pupils (essential).
  • Willing to undertake additional hours if required.
  • A commitment to equality of opportunity.
  • Understand and implement all Safeguarding policies and procedure in relation to working with children and young people.
