We are keen to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Level 2 Class Learning Support Assistant, who is able to provide classroom support for children in Key Stage 1 or 2, as needed. This is a permanent contract and is suitable for those individuals who enjoy working in schools or are aspiring to have a teaching career.

As well as general support in the classroom and playground, the position will involve working with groups of children and on a one to one basis with a pupil(s), to ensure they achieve their full potential and are able to fully access the curriculum.

Hillingdon Primary School was inspected by Ofsted in March 2024 and we were judged to be an ‘outstanding’ academy where ‘Pupils flourish … They benefit from highly positive experiences and achieve exceptionally well’. We have wonderful pupils in our school and Ofsted commented that their behaviour is ‘exemplary’.

What can we offer?

  • An experienced and supportive staff team.
  • Pupils who are well-behaved, happy and respectful with a positive approach to their learning.
  • Effective and embedded planning and assessment systems.
  • CPD opportunities for staff to enable career progression. We employ a number of School Centred Initial Teacher Training students.

What kind of individual are we looking for?

  • An enthusiastic LSA who is passionate about ensuring the best possible outcomes for all pupils.
  • An individual who has compassion, empathy and inclusion at the heart of their practice.
  • A committed individual who is dedicated to providing an inclusive, engaging and positive learning environment.
  • A LSA who is both self-motivated and able to work in partnership with their class teacher.
  • An individual who knows our school or has taken the time to find out something about us.

A knowledge of various SEN needs would be desirable.

We are proud to be part of the Elliot Foundation and maximise the opportunities this presents to work with other academies for the benefit of our students and staff.  Further information regarding The Elliot Foundation Multi Academy Trust can be found at: http://www.elliotfoundation.co.uk
