Work Pattern: 34.5 hours per week 39 weeks per year (term time only + 10 days)
Salary information: NJC Scale Point 26-28, Actual salary; £29,514 - £31,040 per annum (pro-rata)
Contract type: Permanent

Oak Wood School is looking to appoint a Careers Coordinator. This is an exciting new role, created as part of our ambition to ensure careers guidance is embedded and effective in our curriculum. The Careers Coordinator will support students to prepare for further/higher education, training, and employment and provide careers guidance and advice that is neutral, informed and relevant.

Oak Wood School was recently judged as a ‘Good’ school by Ofsted (May 2022) and is truly inclusive, mixed, multi-ethnic 11-18 school that embraces all aspects of comprehensive education. The curriculum is well balanced and reflects the needs of all our students and the local community. The school’s Rewards and Sanctions policy is robust, and staff have welcomed the introduction of centralised sanctions and inclusive polices.
