Work pattern: 36 hours per week, Term Time only (39 weeks)
Salary information: Scale 6, £28,790 - £29,693 per annum (dependent upon experience)
Start date: ASAP

Meadow High School is a successful Special School for children with Moderate Learning Difficulties (currently 257 pupils on roll). Many pupils have Complex Learning Needs, including Autism. Our success has been consistently identified in all our Ofsted inspections. 

We are seeking an Annual Review Lead to ensure that our pupil’s Annual Reviews of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) are organised, conducted and completed in accordance with current statutory guidance, meeting statutory timescales and are of high quality to meet the needs for all students at Meadow High School.

The successful candidate will manage and oversee all aspects of the Annual Review process including chairing Annual Reviews and take minutes and notes as appropriate.

We wish to appoint candidates with:
  • Degree and relevant experience in a SEND related field.
  • Knowledge of EHCP and AR process.
  • Understanding of relevant policies/codes of practice and awareness of relevant legislation related to EHCPs / Annual Reviews.
  • Excellent administrative skills.
  • The ability to be a team player.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Be flexible and adaptable.
  • A positive can do attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to communicate effectively.
  • Discrete with the handling of sensitive and confidential information.
  • A sense of humour.
  • Understand and implement all Safeguarding policies and procedures in relation to working with children and young people.
